Looking west along the north side of King Street East from Frederick Street. St. James Cathedral can be seen beyond. The steeple was completed in 1873 and at 93m (305 ft.), it became the tallest structure in Canada until the construction of the (Old) City Hall clock tower (103.6m / 340 ft.) in 1899.
