The Houses of Parliament, Ottawa, Ontario. The Parliament Buildings in Ottawa house the federal legislative branch of Canada. Designed in the Modern Gothic Revival style by John Pearson and Jean Omer Marchand, these buildings were completed in 1922 and the Peace Tower in 1927, rebuilding the original Houses of Parliament (1866) that were consumed by fire in 1916.
