Frank Sinatra's Mug-Shot. In 1938, after performing at his first real professional gig at the Rustic Cabin at Englewood Cliffs in New Jersey, Frank was invited out to the parking lot for a "personal encounter". One account tells that when a policeman tapped on the car window, the woman panicked and screamed "rape!" Frank was arrested. The next morning the "married woman" dropped the charges. Another says the 23 year-old Sinatra was charged with "carrying on with a married woman", the charges were again dropped.
